On February 17th, 2021 I’ll will be leading a tabletop exercise for the students of CISS 471 at Western Washington University. The tabletop exercise explores the ethical decisions associated with a ransomware attack at a fictional international organization.

Include Cybersecurity
With between 1.8 and 5.5 million cybersecurity jobs that are likely to go unfilled by 2021, the cybersecurity industry needs to encourage people who have not previously considered these jobs to include cybersecurity in their job options. The world does not need another whitepaper about the lack of diversity of race, gender, and orientation in cybersecurity.
Webinar results from February sessions
This week, I held two evening webinars on managing professional services firms. We brought together consultants, directors, and vice presidents from the east and west coasts to learn about the best practices for managing a worldwide consulting firm.
